The Life and Work of Hunter S. Thompson

Hunter created a new type of Journalism in the 70s named Gonzo (apparently after an anarchic blues riff by James Booker)

humorous. brash. irreverent and fearless

expressing his own personal opinions on politics and the state of the world using the mundane events he was asked to cover Hunter S Thompson soon became a literary success.

He began working for muck rakers like Scanlan's Monthly (a magazine that published the sinister behaviours of American Politicians like Richard Nixon who Hunter had a passionate disliking for)
